Welcome to Knit Healthcare ("Knit", "we", "us", or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Knit Healthcare website, mobile application, and related services (collectively, the "Services").

By creating an account, accessing, or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

  1. Overview of the Services

Knit is a consumer healthcare data platform designed to help individuals collect, organize, and understand their personal health and wellness information. The services may allow you to:

  • Connect third-party devices, applications, and services

  • Import or upload personal health information, including medical records

  • View, organize, and analyze your health and wellness data

Knit is not a healthcare provider, medical device, or telehealth service. We do not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease, and we do not provide medical advice.

  1. Eligibility

To use the services, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old

  • Be capable of entering into a legally binding agreement

  • Provide accurate and complete registration information

By using the Services, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.

  1. Account Registration and Security

To access the Services, you must create an account and provide certain personal information, including your name, email address, and date of birth.

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials

Knit does not independently verify the accuracy of your health information.

  1. Data Ownership and License

Your Data

You retain ownership of all personal data, including health information, that you submit or connect to the Services ("User Data").

License to Knit

By using the Services, you grant Knit a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to access, use, store, process, analyze, and display your User Data:

  • To operate and improve the Services

  • For analytics, research, and product development

  • In de-identified or aggregated form, where applicable

This license ends when you delete your account, except where retention is required by law or permitted under our Privacy Policy.

  1. Privacy and Security

Your use of the Services is subject to our Privacy Policy and Security Policy, which describe how we collect, use, store, and protect your information.

By using the Services, you agree to those policies.

  1. Acceptable Use

You agree to not misuse the Services. Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to:

We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms.

Your use of third-party services is governed by their own terms and policies.

  1. No Medical Advice Disclaimer

The services are provided for informational and organizational purposes only.

  • Knit does not provide medical advice

  • Health insights, scores, or summaries are not a substitute for professional medical judgment

  • Always consult a qualified healthcare professional regarding medical decisions

  1. Services Availability

The Services are provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services at any time without notice.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

  1. Intellectual Property

All content, software, trademarks, and materials provided by Knit (excluding User Data) are owned by Knit or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

  1. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if:

  • You violate these terms

  • Your use poses legal, security, or operational risk

  • We discontinue the Services

You may delete your account at any time through the Services.

Upon termination, your right to use the Services ends immediately.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

  • THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE"

  • WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED

  1. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

  • KNIT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES

  • OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED $100 OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS (WHICHEVER IS GREATER)

  1. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Knit and its affiliates from claims arising out of:

  • Your use of the Services

  • Your User Data

  • Your violation of these Terms

  1. Arbitration and Dispute Resolution

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services shall be resolved by binding arbitration, not in court, except where prohibited by law.

Arbitration shall take place on an individual basis, and class actions are waived.

  1. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.

  1. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
